RASPBERRY MACARON CLASS Zoom with Molly Wilkerson in Versailles

Are you ready to master Macarons? Woo!


This class will be full of fun French tunes and new skills as we whip, pipe and bake away together making macarons. We’ll go through lots of tips and tricks to help you master these finicky (but oh so delicious) cookies.

This is a great class for bakers new to macarons or bakers wanting to perfect their macaron creations and learn more tips! We will be doing the French Meringue method. The filling inside is a delicious raspberry buttercream. We’ll work on a fun design for the tops too!

CLASS TIME: FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 11TH 7PM PARIS | 1PM EST | 12PM CST | 11AM MST | 10AM PST LIVE ON ZOOM **Recording available for 30 days. A link to access this will be sent to participants after the class airs.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: The French Meringue method for making Macarons Lots of ideas for different fillings Piping techniques What type of food coloring to use The best method for filling and sandwiching Macarons Tips for how to make-ahead Decoration techniques WHAT’S INCLUDED: Recipes for: Macarons | French Meringue Method, raspberry buttercream filling A Tip Sheet for making French Macarons A list of equipment recommendations specific to this class Access to a private Facebook group to share your creations, interact with fellow students and ask questions that come up SPECIAL EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Piping Tip (large round tip either 8-10mm in diameter – Ateco 804 or Wilton 2A), Piping Bags, Gel Food Coloring, a Scale (highly recommended!), Slipat (optional). INGREDIENTS NEEDED: Powdered (confectioner/icing) sugar, granulated sugar, almond flour, egg whites, butter, freeze-dried raspberry powder (pulse freeze-dried raspberries in a blender to make a powder) FAQ: What level baker is this for? ALL LEVELS!!! This is what my classes are all about: Making French Pastry fun and accessible! No matter your level you’ll pick up lots of great tips that you can apply to all of your baking projects.


What if I don’t have the ingredients/equipment? Not to worry! You can choose whether you’d like to simply watch and bake later, or bake along with me. What if I miss the class? You will be sent a reminder email one hour before the class will start. Unfortunately, if you miss the class, it is non-refundable. You will have the recipes, recording, and are welcome to get in touch with any questions you have. Is the class recorded? The beauty of the class is that it’s live with lots of fun interaction. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and you can always get in touch after the class via email or on the FB group. A recording of the live class will be sent to participants about one hour after it takes place. It will be available for viewing for 30 days. No names will be on the recording and the recording will be almost entirely of Molly during the class. If you do not want your face to be shown, please turn off your camera. This will allow you to rewatch the class to pick up any tips that might have been missed. Also, it’s perfect in case you were not able to attend the class due to the time, so you can view it and bake along. How do I ask questions during the class? You can ask questions during the live broadcast on Zoom either by commenting or talking directly with me! There will be at least 10 minutes at the end of each class for questions and you’re always welcome to get in touch with me before or after the class at molly@mollyjwilk.com. When do we get the recipes? The recipes and a list of equipment recommendations will be emailed to you with the Zoom link immediately after your order goes through.


What if I have never used Zoom before? Zoom is super easy. If you haven’t used it before, I recommend clicking on the link a couple of minutes before and Zoom will walk through any necessary setup you need to take. Can I gift this workshop to someone? Absolutely! The best is to email them a Gift Card and tell them which class you’ve signed up for so they can too! I won’t be paying in euros. How much is this class? You have the option to pay in Euros or US Dollars. On the right-hand side of the screen, select the currency you would like to use at checkout. You will see the final price there in either euros or US dollars depending on what you have selected. If you are paying in a currency that is not your local currency, your bank will convert the number to your currency at the time of checkout. What payment methods do you have? You can pay via PayPal, credit or debit card. To reserve your place, click on the “Book Now” button above. No refunds will be made for virtual classes. If the class is not able to move forward as scheduled due to an unforeseen issue, you will be immediately alerted to this change and a full refund will be made.
